Women’s MTB Skills Clinics with Jess Douglas Australian 24 Hour Champion

Confirmed dates for these clinics are August 20&21, Sept 24 & 25 and October 29 & 30. Morning clinics will run from 7.45am-10.45am, afternoon clinics will run from 3.30pm- 6.30pm. Each session is a stand-alone clinic. These clinics are being run in a small group format (maximum number of 5 women per group), with clinics catering for different skill levels depending on demand.

There are a few questions on the registration page that we require you to answer prior to registering, and if you can read http://www.sacredrides.com/skill-and-fitness-ratings so you do a self-assessment of your skills (1-9) prior to registering, to assist us when grouping participants. When registering for the weekend/weekends you would like to attend, can you please indicate preferred session times e.g. Sat am/pm, Sun am/pm. We will make every effort to get you into your preferred day and session time and will send email/text confirmation of this ASAP.  Please provide preferred contact method, email/text message.

Women participating in these skills clinics must be DORC members for insurance purposes. If you are not currently a member when registering for these clinics, this is your opportunity to take advantage of the 8 week free trial membership that DORC is currently offering, or become a DORC member with all its advantages https://www.dorc.com.au/about-dorc/join-dorc/, or you can purchase a day license to cover your insurance.

Cost of registration per clinic is $50.

Friday 19th August: Women’s meet and greet at the CPA office (5.30/6pm). All women attending any of these sessions are invited to attend. Jess Douglas will talk about her mountain biking career and the format for the upcoming sessions. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. For those interested, we will have dinner at the Wharf following (7.30/8pm).

Basic Bike Maintenance workshops – details to be confirmed
      Friday 28 October: Social event for DORC members including presentation of our survey       on women’s mountain biking, findings – details to be confirmed
