Working Bee at Charles Darwin National Park. We’re getting our trails in order for the wet season. This Sunday We will target Wirraway and Spitfire trails to improve drainage and trim back some of the plants, particularly Cycads that are encroaching on to the trails. The more people we get, the better.
Date: Sunday 15 December
Time: 2.45 for a 3pm start, until about 5.30 (when the midges fire up)
Meet: Front Gate Charles Darwin National Park
Bring: Strong Shoes, Sun protection, insect repellent, hydration pack.
If you have secateurs or loppers, bring those. We will supply fire rakes.
The more we can get done, the better our trails will be after the rains.
