Charles Darwin National Park
Every Saturday afternoon DORC host a social mountain bike ride in different locations around the Darwin area. The aim of these rides is to get all level riders together to enjoy our sport and trails in a friendly supportive environment. These rides can help familiarise you with our local trail networks. They are also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people.
Attention: Please take note of start time change because of the AGM
This Saturday 18th Feb 2023 the social ride will be held at Charles Darwin National Park. For this ride, we will be meeting just inside the main gates of Charles Darwin National Park. Please arrive at 4:30pm for a 4:45pm start, we are starting a bit earlier so we can finish the ride by 6pm for the AGM at 6:30pm. Come join us at One Mile Brewery for some rehydration after the ride and support the club at the AGM at the same time.
It’s that time of year again and there could be showers or storms around on the day of the ride, if so please watch this post for cancellation details. We will make a decision no later than 3pm.
It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that they have a current Auscycling Licence, this is to make sure we follow the Auscycling club and insurance requirements. If you are a non member and would like to join us just follow the link and take advantage of the AusCycling four week free trial membership. click here.
Please adhere to social distancing guide lines. If you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms please stay home.
