DORC Social Rides

19/09/2018 by Geoff Fox

DORC Saturday Arvo Social Ride

It’s time to change things up a little. This Saturday will be an urban ride in Darwin city and surrounds. If you have done one of these before you know how much fun they can be. If you haven’t been on an urban ride before, come along and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

The ride will start from Stokes Hill Wharf at 4:45 for a 5:00 pm start on Saturday 22nd Sep 18.

Duration of the ride will be approx 1.5-2hr and all levels of riders are welcome. There are plenty of areas where  you can test out your skills or watch other riders negotiate the urban terrain during the ride.

Upon completion of the ride at Stokes Hill Wharf you are invited to stay on for dinner and drinks if you wish.

You will need a MTB in good working order, helmet , gloves, enclosed shoes, plenty of water to last the ride and any spares that you think you might require.

You do not need to be a DORC member to attend the social rides. However, if you are not a DORC/MTBA member you ride at your own risk. DORC/MTBA members are covered for accident/injury insurance. If want to #beadorc click here.

DORC Junior Social Ride

This Sunday 23rd Sep 18 the DORC Junior Social Ride will be held at the New Pine Forest.

You will need a bike in good working order, helmet, gloves, enclosed shoes and plenty of water.

If you are 10 years or younger you will need a parent/carer to accompany you on the ride.

You do not need to be a DORC member to attend the social rides. However, if you are not a DORC/MTBA member you ride at your own risk. DORC/MTBA members are covered for accident/injury insurance. If want to #beadorc click here.
