Cycle Zone 3 Hour – Results and Photos

14/06/2020 by Ian

Race Results

Thanks to everyone who came and made the Cycle Zone 3 hour a success, judging by the smiles (or were they looks of relief at the end of the 3 hours) you all had fun and that’s what DORC races are all about. I hope you achieved those personal goals that I find many of us set in these races, be it a number of laps you wanted to complete or lasting the time allotted or beating your mates so you have bragging rights, thanks for coming down and giving it a go.

A  big thanks to Aaron and Nic and the rest of the crew at Cycle Zone for sponsoring the event and running the BBQ, the free drinks and sausage sizzle was greatly appreciated by all riders at the end of the race

Thank you to Simon Gillam, Katharine Taylor and Dave Wigely for manning the timing tent and providing first aid, and to all who helped set up the race course and pack it up at the end of the night. It’s one of the more time consuming races in the way of volunteers hours and logistics and without your help DORC would not be able to run these events.
