Certificate of Appreciation – Volunteer Week

16/06/2019 by Ian

Darwin Off-Road Cyclists have received a Certification of Appreciation for the work our volunteers do to maintain the trails, and providing safe and family-friendly club activities.

Accompanying the certificate was a letter from the Executive Director of the Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture letter from  thanking specifically Keogh Conboy and the DORC Crew for volunteering their time and contribution.

Behind the scenes of ALL our activities, our volunteers give their spare time to provide a safe riding environment, trails, skills and events for everyone to enjoy.  Our volunteer resources are limited and we can always use some extra help.  If you have time and would like to contribute, there’s many ways you can help.

Have a chat with a volunteer at out next event or reach out to us, on our Facebook page, or via email any time.

I second that Col- and to all those whipper snipping legends! I appreciated the clearing of the track at the pine forest. Good job to all the DORC committee members and volunteers, well deserved recognition.
