1600 - 1830 Track Maintenance Charles Darwin Singletrack Maintenance
Meet 4pm at Top Carpark / Lookout area in Charles Darwin National Park.
How Hard: Easy with lots of volunteers.
Plan is to tidy up the Speargrass along the Charles Darwin Singletrack. The best tool for the job is a Brush Cutter (with solid cutting blade). Next best tool is a Line Trimmer/Wipper Snipper. If you don't have any power tools then bring along a hard or soft rake to clean off the track where the boys have been with the Brush Cutters. Suggest a hat, sunscreen, sunnies/glasses, gloves, and boots/shoes. Carry some water and maybe bring some insect repellent if you attack the local midges' (sand flies). Some free softies for the hard workers afterwards.
