| Hardest Ride: | The first time I rode back from Mandorah (without my bike gloves - I can still remember the pain) in 2004 that took 9 hours on my hard tail Mountain bike! It's about 120kms by the way and some of it is off-road.. |
| Worst MTB Injury: (When, Where, How, Excuse) |
3 Stitches in my upper right arm after falling off my bike 8kms into the first stage of the Anaconda MTB Enduro 2008. I didn't see the rock that my front wheel collected which landed me in a tree! I lost my speedo, my gloves were torn to shreads and my new knicks got two holes in them. Second worst Injury was when I tried to run Jamie over by trying to turn left while riding downhill on the right hand side of a cycle path. He dodged me while I fell off and broke my hand. 6 weeks later the cast came off. Oh well Jamie just had to do the washing up for the whole time! No hard feelings - I married him after all. |
