Emma Winterflood
Holmes Jungle 2006.

Nickname: An old one from way back - Fiery.
Age: 31
Day Job: Darwin Airport (Accountant)
Years Riding MTB: Not many (it shows!)
Current Bike: Giant white one (Trance)
Dream Bike: The bike I have is pretty good, and way better than my current MTBing ability so I don't dream for anything better.
Worst Bike Ridden: A green one I had from K-Mart a long time ago. It wasn't a Huffy, but something equally as bad!
States/Countries Ridden: NSW (Royal National Park and around), here and Alice Springs. I rode my bike in Switzerland recently but that wasn't MTB related.
Favourite MTB Ride:
(NT/Interstate/OS)
Haven't done too many - last Easter's Litchfield Lost City ride was fun (kind of!!).
Favourite MTB Event:
(NT/Interstate/OS)
Again, haven't done many, but I like the Velodrome short course MTB races we've done recently.
Favourite MTB Track:
(NT/Interstate/OS)
There are some good tracks in Royal National Park (south Sydney). My favourite here is Holmes Jungle.
Hardest Ride: Any rides around Alice Springs for me....that's when I had even less MTB skills than I have today (if that is possible!). Plus too much sand.
Worst MTB Injury:
(When,Where,How,Excuse)
I'm a chicken so normally get off the bike if I think I can't ride it. The most stupid injury (ribs) I had was recently when I went over the handlebars in Lake Alex carpark, practising jumping gutters. It was Peta Jeggo's fault!
Favourite MTB Accessory:
(Anything that makes MTB easier)
The full suspension on my new bike. Only had hardtails prior to that.
