Congratulations to all riders who came down and got dirty at the DORC Old Pine Forest 2hr race! It was our first race of the year and the first DORC race for a few kids and adults alike who were ripping it up amongst local familiar faces. Thanks to everyone who came and supported the riders and a big thanks to the volunteers Donna Kabel and Dave Wrigley on timekeeping and first aid duty, Aaron Caden and family who kept the sausages and refreshments flowing and Jo Fox as a first time Race Director, without your help we wouldn’t be able to have these events and you have earned yourselves free entry for our next race, to claim your free entry contact the club via our facebook page or email address

Every Saturday afternoon DORC host a social mountain bike ride in different locations around the Darwin area. The aim of these rides is to get all level riders together to enjoy our sport and trails in a friendly supportive environment. These rides can help familiarise you with our local trail networks and to help you meet other like-minded people.
This Saturday 9th March 19, the ride will be hosted at the Old Pine Forest, Howard Springs. We will start the ride from the Across the road from Howard Springs Rd, Stow Rd intersect at 4:45 for a 5:00 pm start.
The ride will be at an easy pace and go for approx 1.5 hrs with plenty of breaks along the way.
You will need a mtb in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. Also bring along things you may need to keep you going. For example spare tube, tools, pump, etc.
For insurance purposes, you will need proof of membership with DORC/MTBA or be prepared to sign a waiver.
Also just a reminder that DORC will be having a Trail clean up day at Charles Darwin National Park this Sunday 10th March 2019, here’s your chance to help keep YOUR trails fun. Some gear and herbicide and spray packs provided, but bring your favourite tool; whipper snipper, secauters, rake, hoe. Meet at front gate at 10:30am (gives you time to do triathlon or ride in the morning)
